The Central Library,UDPIM has latest collection of reference books, handbooks, encyclopedias and Indian standards. The library has book bank facility for students. Moreover, each department is having library for ready reference.It caters to the needs of large groups of users including more than 60 students, faculty and number of supporting staff.
The department is well established with state of art facility and modern instruments for evaluation various dosage forms. It introduces Design, Development & evaluation of drugs in combination with an appropriate dosage form. The Department is actively involved in development of various novel drug delivery systems. Student will complete the course with knowledge and skills applicable for a variety of practical settings in dosage form design, manufacturing technology, regulatory aspects, patents, quality control and quality assurance.
Canteen facility is available in the campus for the students and staff members. An entrée of delectable cuisines is provided at pocket-friendly prices.
Well maintained medicinal Herbal Garden with about fifty plants is maintained properly by UDPIM. This helps the students to see and learn about the plants in their natural habitat. This provides plants material for conducting the practicals of D. Pharm students.
The institute has hostel facilities to provide accommodation for 60 students. There are mess in the hostel campus, which are managed by students themselves. Many newspapers and magazines are subscribed by the hostel library.
The computer center at UDPIM is well equipped with sufficient number of computers with the latest configuration. The Institute has an wi-fi and is providing internet facility.
